Ladli Behna Yojana KYC is really two checks that must both be in order: Aadhaar e-KYC against your Samagra entry, and an Aadhaar-seeded bank account with DBT switched on. When either one is missing, the monthly Rs 1,500 can stop without any warning.

Please note that we are a private, independent information site; e-KYC is done only on the Samagra portal or at an authorised centre, never through us or any link we send. Below you will find what each check means, the steps reported for Samagra e-KYC, and how to spot people trying to misuse your OTP.

What Ladli Behna Yojana KYC actually covers

e-KYC means electronic Know Your Customer: proving you are you by entering your Aadhaar number and a one-time password (OTP) sent to the mobile linked with Aadhaar. For this scheme, two separate records must agree.

  • Samagra e-KYC: Samagra is Madhya Pradesh's database of families and members. Every member has a Samagra ID. Your Aadhaar must be verified against your Samagra member record.
  • Bank Aadhaar seeding and DBT: Aadhaar seeding means linking your Aadhaar to your bank account. DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) must be enabled so government money can be routed to it.

Both conditions were required before applying in the first place. They also have to stay valid afterwards, so Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana e-KYC (and the matching bank KYC) is not a one-time job.

Why money stops when e-KYC or DBT is pending

The monthly transfer is sent using your Samagra and Aadhaar details. If the Samagra record is not verified with Aadhaar, or the bank cannot match your Aadhaar to an account with DBT active, the transfer fails or is held back. Reports on missed installments list an outdated Samagra or Aadhaar e-KYC and a bank account without Aadhaar linking or DBT among the main reasons. About 1 lakh women did not get the 33rd installment in February 2026, with reasons like these listed in reports.

The other common reasons are removal for ineligibility and reaching age 60. Those are not fixed by e-KYC. To know which one applies to you, see the payment status guide first.

Samagra e-KYC steps online

The steps below are as described by secondary sources. Menu names on the Samagra portal can change, so follow the labels you actually see on screen.

  1. Open the Samagra portal and choose "Update Overall Profile", then "Do e-KYC".
  2. Key in your member Samagra ID, then the captcha shown.
  3. Verify the OTP sent to the mobile number on your Samagra record.
  4. Type the Aadhaar number and confirm the Aadhaar OTP that arrives on the mobile linked with Aadhaar.
  5. Submit, and note any message or reference shown at the end.

If the OTP does not arrive, the mobile number on Aadhaar may be old. Updating Aadhaar details is done at an Aadhaar centre, after which you can try the e-KYC again. There is no separate Ladli Behna Yojana e-KYC link online; it is the Samagra e-KYC that counts.

Getting e-KYC done offline

Many women do not have a smartphone or find portals confusing. You can also complete Samagra e-KYC at:

  • a ration shop (fair price shop) in your area,
  • a CSC (Common Service Centre), or
  • an MP Online kiosk.

Carry your Aadhaar card, your Samagra ID and the mobile phone linked to Aadhaar, because OTPs will be sent to it. Stay with the operator while the work is done, watch the screen, and type the OTP yourself where you can. Ask for a printout or screenshot of the success message. If a family member is helping, make sure the e-KYC is done on your own member record and not on someone else's in the family.

Aadhaar seeding and DBT on your bank account

The money is paid only into an account in the woman's own name. It must be linked to her Aadhaar and enabled for DBT. An account in a relative's name is not what the scheme asks for.

  1. Visit the branch where you hold the account, with your passbook and Aadhaar.
  2. Ask the staff to confirm that Aadhaar is seeded to the account and that DBT is active.
  3. If not, ask them to complete the Aadhaar seeding and DBT consent. Follow the bank's own form and process.
  4. Keep the account active by using it from time to time, so that it is not treated as dormant.

Once both e-KYC and DBT are in order, the next transfer should reach you, unless you have been removed for another reason.

After e-KYC: confirm everything is working

Do not assume the problem is solved. On cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in, the scheme's official site, pick the option for application and payment status. Fill in either the application number or the Samagra ID, type the captcha and confirm with the OTP. Look at whether recent payments show as disbursed.

Then watch for the next monthly credit. The release usually happens around mid-month, and our status panel near the top shows the last installment we have confirmed. Our kist timing guide explains why a credit can take a day or two to show in your passbook.

Searching for Ladli Behna Yojana KYC Maharashtra?

Many people looking for Ladli Behna Yojana e-KYC Maharashtra or Ladli Behna Yojana KYC Maharashtra actually mean the Maharashtra Ladki Bahin scheme. That is a different state's scheme with its own portal and its own e-KYC. Samagra e-KYC applies only to Madhya Pradesh.

If you live in Maharashtra, our Maharashtra note explains the difference. If you live in MP, follow the Samagra steps on this page. There is also no separate Ladli Behna Yojana KYC form to fill on paper; the e-KYC itself is the process.

OTP and agent safety

e-KYC is the moment fraudsters love most, because it involves OTPs. Protect yourself:

  • Never share an OTP over a phone call, WhatsApp or SMS reply. Department staff do not call to collect OTPs.
  • Do not click links that say they are the Ladli Behna Yojana KYC link. Use only the Samagra portal or the official Ladli Behna portal, typed by yourself.
  • Do not pay anyone who promises to restart your kist through a quick KYC. Kiosk service charges, if any, are for their service only and do not buy you any priority.
  • If someone has misused your details, report it at your bank and through CM Helpline 181, which handles general grievances in MP.

Questions people ask

Is Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana KYC compulsory?

Yes. Aadhaar e-KYC on the Samagra portal and an Aadhaar-linked bank account with DBT enabled are both needed. Without them, payments can fail.

Where can I do my Ladli Behna e-KYC if I have no phone?

You can go to a ration shop, a CSC or an MP Online kiosk. You will still need access to the mobile linked with your Aadhaar for the OTP, so take that phone along or bring the family member who has it.

What details are needed for Samagra e-KYC?

Your member Samagra ID, your Aadhaar number, and the mobile numbers linked with Samagra and Aadhaar to receive OTPs. Keep your Aadhaar card handy to avoid typing mistakes.

I did e-KYC but the money still did not come. Why?

Your bank account may not be Aadhaar-seeded or may not have DBT active. You may also have been removed for ineligibility or crossed 60. Check the portal's status page and ask your bank to confirm Aadhaar seeding and DBT.

Is there a last date for Ladli Behna Yojana KYC?

We have not found any official last date. It is best to keep e-KYC and bank linking up to date at all times so that no monthly payment is missed.

Someone called asking for my OTP to complete KYC. Is that genuine?

No. Do not share it. Genuine e-KYC is done by you on the portal or at a centre where you are present. Report such calls to your bank and to CM Helpline 181.
