The Ladli Behna Yojana kist is the monthly installment that Madhya Pradesh credits to eligible women, currently Rs 1,500 for most beneficiaries. The question everyone asks is "kist kab aayegi", and the honest answer is that there is no fixed date, only a usual window in the middle of the month.

This site is an independent explainer, not run by the government; payment details are confirmed only on the government's own website (cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in) or with your bank. The status panel above this guide carries the most recent installment we have been able to confirm, so check there for anything date-related.

How the Ladli Behna Yojana kist is paid each month

Once a month the government sends out the money for all beneficiaries in a single transfer, usually at a public event in one district. From there it moves by DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), which means the amount goes from the government straight into the bank account that is linked to the woman's Aadhaar. Nobody hands over cash, and no agent is involved.

Because one big batch is sent to well over a crore of accounts, the credit does not always show up in every passbook within minutes. Some women see the SMS the same day, others a day or two later depending on their bank. That small delay is normal and is not a sign that your name has been dropped.

Kist kab aayegi: the usual mid-month window

Looking at recent months, the release has generally fallen somewhere between the 10th and the 16th. The date moves from month to month, and the government does not publish a fixed calendar in advance. Dates usually appear in the news only shortly before a release.

You will find many searches such as Ladli Behna Yojana 29 or 33 or 36 kist kab aayegi; those numbered installments have already been paid. For the next one, rely on the status panel above, which we update only after the transfer is confirmed by reliable reports. We do not guess future dates in the article because a wrong date causes needless worry.

If a video promises a kist on a specific day weeks ahead, treat it as a guess. Ladli Behna Yojana ke paise kab aaenge is best answered by your bank SMS and the portal, not by social media.

Amount history: Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500

PeriodMonthly kistNote
Launch, June 2023Rs 1,000Starting amount
Raised in 2023Rs 1,250First credited in October 2023; one source puts it at September
From November 2025Rs 1,500Approved by the cabinet; first such credit on 12 November 2025

Before the first Rs 1,500 transfer, 29 installments had already been paid under the scheme. Every kist after that has been Rs 1,500 for general beneficiaries. Women who also receive a social security pension are reported to get Rs 900 a month from Ladli Behna; confirm your own amount on the portal's payment status page.

Has the Rs 3,000 kist started?

No. Rs 3,000 a month is a promise, not the current amount. The Chief Minister has said the aid will be raised to Rs 3,000 by 2028 and repeated this target in the Assembly. No government order raising it above Rs 1,500 has been found.

The cabinet decision to continue the scheme for the next 5 years said nothing about raising what each woman gets either. Some coaching and news-summary sites have wrongly written that the amount is already Rs 3,000. If you receive Rs 1,500, you are getting the correct current amount. If an increase is officially ordered, we will update the status panel.

Extra payments: Raksha Bandhan and Diwali

In August 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 an extra Rs 250 was credited around Raksha Bandhan. This has been decided year by year, so do not count on it as a permanent rule.

Searches for a Ladli Behna Yojana Diwali bonus date are common, but we found no confirmed report of a Diwali bonus under this scheme. If you see a message about a Diwali bonus that asks you to click a link or share an OTP to receive it, it is very likely a fraud.

How to confirm that your kist has arrived

  1. Check the SMS from your bank on the mobile number registered with the account.
  2. Update your passbook at the branch, or ask a bank mitra or CSC operator to show your recent transactions.
  3. On the official portal, open the Application and Payment Status option ("आवेदन एवं भुगतान की स्थिति"). Enter your application number or member Samagra ID and the captcha, then the OTP sent to your phone. The page lists the payments disbursed to you.
  4. Match the amount and the month. If the portal shows a payment that is not in your bank, visit the bank with your passbook and Aadhaar.

A Samagra ID is your member number in the Samagra database, MP's register of families and members. Our status check guide explains each result you may see on the portal.

Why a kist may not arrive

When most women in your village got money and you did not, the cause is usually one of these:

  • e-KYC pending: the Aadhaar-based e-KYC on your Samagra record was never done or has lapsed. e-KYC means confirming your identity online using an Aadhaar OTP.
  • Bank problem: Aadhaar was never seeded to the account, or the bank has not switched on DBT for it. Linking is called Aadhaar seeding.
  • Removed as ineligible: a check found that the family no longer meets a rule.
  • Age 60 crossed: payments stop at 60.

About 1 lakh women missed the 33rd installment for reasons like these. Start with the portal status, then fix e-KYC using our e-KYC guide or ask your bank to activate DBT. If you think you were wrongly removed, check the rules on our eligibility page and raise a complaint through CM Helpline 181, the state's general grievance line.

Ladli Behna Yojana last date and new forms

People often search for a Ladli Behna Yojana form last date. Right now there is no last date because no form is open. New registrations are closed, and the department told the Assembly in writing that it was not considering any proposal to reopen them. The Chief Minister later said left-out women would be added "next year", but no date or order has followed.

Until an official announcement, ignore claims of form dates. Our registration page explains how earlier phases worked, and the main Ladli Behna guide covers the scheme as a whole.

How much is the Ladli Behna kist now?

When will the kist become Rs 3,000?

Rs 3,000 has been announced as a target for 2028. No order has been issued yet, so the amount remains Rs 1,500 until the cabinet decides otherwise.
