If you are looking for ladli behna yojana in other states, the plain answer is that Ladli Behna belongs to MP alone, and most other states have nothing by that name. Ours is an independent guide that does not process any application, so forms and status checks for any state's scheme are handled by that government's own website and local staff.
Women in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and other states often see videos claiming a "Ladli Behna form" has opened in their state. Before you share your documents or pay anyone, read this page. It lists only the schemes we could verify, and tells you how to find out what your own state really offers.
Does ladli behna yojana in other states exist?
MP's government started Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana for married women living within its borders. It pays eligible women Rs 1,500 a month, and only MP residents can join. A woman in another state cannot register for it, even if she has relatives in MP.
Other states have their own women's and girls' schemes, and some use the word "Ladli" in the name. But a scheme with a similar name is not the same scheme. It has its own amount, its own rules and its own portal. The sections below cover the ones we have verified from reliable sources.
Schemes we have verified
| State | Scheme | Who it helps | More |
|---|---|---|---|
| Madhya Pradesh | Ladli Behna Yojana | Married women aged 21 to 60 | Ladli Behna guide |
| Madhya Pradesh | Ladli Laxmi Yojana | Girls, through school and college | Ladli Laxmi page |
| Madhya Pradesh | Ladli Behna Awas Yojana | Housing help for Ladli Behna women, stalled | Awas page |
| Haryana | Ladli Social Security Allowance | Parents who have no son, once a parent is 45 | Haryana page |
| Delhi | Ladli Scheme, now Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana | Girls born in Delhi, deposits for education | Delhi page |
Haryana's allowance is Rs 3,200 a month from 1 Nov 2025 for eligible parents. Delhi's new scheme deposits Rs 11,000 at birth and further sums through school and college.
Maharashtra and Jharkhand: similar idea, different schemes
Two schemes are often mixed up with MP's Ladli Behna in searches. Maharashtra runs Majhi Ladki Bahin, and Jharkhand runs Maiya Samman. Both are women's cash schemes run by those state governments.
We found only low quality sources for their amounts and rules, and have left them out. What matters is that neither is the MP scheme. If you live in Maharashtra or Jharkhand, check your own state government's portal. Our Maharashtra comparison page explains the naming confusion in more detail.
UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Chhattisgarh
People often search ladli behna yojana up, ladli behna yojana bihar, ladli behna yojana rajasthan, ladli behna yojana gujarat and ladli behna yojana punjab, as well as ladli yojana jharkhand and ladli yojana chhattisgarh. We have not verified any scheme called Ladli Behna, or any Ladli scheme, in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab or Chhattisgarh from a reliable source.
That does not mean these states have no schemes for women or girls. It means we cannot confirm one under this name, and we will not invent details. Your state's WCD office can tell you what is actually available, including any mukhyamantri ladli yojana uttar pradesh claims or ladli yojana rajasthan posts you have seen.
How to check what your own state offers
- Find your state's Women and Child Development (WCD) department. Its website usually ends in gov.in or nic.in.
- Look for the list of schemes for women and girls, and read the eligibility rules there.
- Ask your anganwadi worker. Anganwadi centres are usually the first point for women's and girl child schemes.
- Visit your gram panchayat, ward office or block office and ask whether any registration is open.
- Before sharing documents, ask for the official notice or order that announced the scheme.
If a scheme is real, the state will have issued an order and the local office will know about it.
Warning signs of fake Ladli forms
Fake forms and agents spread fast because the Ladli name is popular. Be careful if you see any of these:
- A link on WhatsApp or social media that asks for your Aadhaar, bank account and mobile number for a "Ladli Behna form" in a state other than MP.
- Someone asking for money to add your name to a list.
- A caller asking you to read out an OTP.
- A promise of a big amount "from next month" with no official notice behind it.
No genuine women's scheme needs you to pay an agent. If you have shared an OTP or bank detail by mistake, contact your bank at once.
If you moved out of MP
Ladli Behna is linked to MP residence and to the Samagra ID, which is MP's family and person identity number for state schemes. If you were a beneficiary in MP and have since moved to another state, check with the panchayat or municipal office back in MP about what this means for your payment, and keep your bank account active with DBT. DBT, or Direct Benefit Transfer, is how the money reaches your account.
Our eligibility page lists the MP rules, and the Hindi page covers the MP scheme in Hindi.
Questions people ask
Can women in UP or Bihar get Ladli Behna?
Only MP runs Ladli Behna. We found no verified ladli yojana up or ladli yojana in bihar under that name, so ask the WCD department of Uttar Pradesh or Bihar what is open for women.
Can a woman from Rajasthan or Gujarat apply for MP's Ladli Behna?
No. Only married women whose residence is in Madhya Pradesh qualify.
Which other states have a Ladli scheme?
We have verified Haryana's Ladli Social Security Allowance and Delhi's Ladli scheme, which is now Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana. MP also runs Ladli Laxmi for girls.
Is Maharashtra's Ladki Bahin the same as Ladli Behna?
No. It is Maharashtra's own scheme with its own rules and portal. Jharkhand's Maiya Samman is also a separate scheme.
I saw a video saying the Ladli Behna form has opened in my state. Is it true?
Treat it with caution. Ask for the official notice and check with your anganwadi or block office before sharing any documents or paying anyone.
Is there a ladli yojana in Punjab?
We could not verify a Ladli scheme in Punjab from a reliable source. Ask the Punjab Women and Child Development department what schemes are open.
